Repurposed - Potting Table

This potting table was put together by Patrick, this past week.  The materials came from a scrap pile of materials he had picked up from a company that gives away free skids and packing material. Throw in some other materials from work, etc. and out came his idea for a potting table.

I had shared a picture of a table for sale on Craigslist for $85.00, with him.  It's nothing more than skids put together.  Functional and a good way to repurpose materials but from our point of view, not worth $85.00.

Patrick's already getting orders for other tables we need around the place!

  1. Izzy,

Planting tables are outrageous in price when shopping in stores, web, craigslist, ebay and even at yard sales.

I love the tables Patrick has made. Ya'll can make a nice income making these tables.

    1. We really love his table too! Being able to use scrap materials and come up with something this nice, is really great. As to income, I've been toying with the idea myself. Another way to offset the cost of things at The Compound.

  2. That is a great looking table. I have a whole bunch of potting bench ideas saved on Pinterest in my gardening file. Some of the things on Craigs List are outrageous! They must think we don't do our research or have handy people in our lives.

    1. I too am a fan of Pinterest! Great minds think alike! I like to view items on CList once and awhile, we have found some good bargains, but just like yard sales, sometimes they think their stuff is worth more than it actually is.

  3. Neat. I wish I had a line on pallets and such but the one I had dried up as they stopped giving em away and started selling em.

That really is a good looking table though.

    1. I'll tell Patrick you said his table was good looking, he'll appreciate that. It was a random location where we found them for free, hopefully we'll be able to continue to get more.
